our vision
“To always be a women-owned multimedia production company
devoted to producing diversity-focused projects as inclusion innovators.”
About Us
Individually and together, Mindy Rosario and Paula Mitchell Manning have produced over 60 productions in film, radio, television, theater, podcasts, and webisodes. Now, this pair of seasoned producers have joined forces and formed a company they appropriately call Seasoned Pros Productions.
MINDY ROSARIO
Mindy approaches producing from an audience’s point of view. Ms. Rosario started in the entertainment industry in NYC, acting on Broadway and in TV and film. Her producing expertise covers television, film, theater, podcasts, and webisodes. With her multiple skills, Mindy also combines a marketing background with her experience in front of and behind the camera and footlights.
Mindy has won 63 film festival awards for producing and co-writing Therapy, including Tribeca and Cannes International. Therapy is currently in development as an anthology series for The Orchid/Sony Studios.
Most recently, she finished her second season as a producer on the award-winning Black/LGBTQIA+ talk show The House for Fox Soul.
For over 25 years, Ms. Rosario has recruited and interviewed people for motion picture market-research projects and focus groups. In the course of this work, she acquired knowledge of demographics and diverse film genres, including faith, independent/low-budget, family, and drama, for nearly every studio in Los Angeles (Universal, Disney, Sony, and Columbia, to name a few). She is a creative producer who connects with attendees and asks an audience what they want to see, not what she expects them to see. This enables her to envision any project through different eyes.
PAULA MITCHELL MANNING
Paula Mitchell Manning’s “superpowers” as a producer are her abilities to use creativity, organizational skills, resourcefulness, and a special knack for assembling gifted talent behind and in front of the camera – and to work in harmonic unison to breathe life into a project. Paula understands it’s essential for a producer to acknowledge and cherish the “we” factor and ensure everyone is recognized for contributing to a production’s success.
Paula cut her teeth in radio, launching her producing career at Los Angeles station KOST-FM. Manning executive produced a radio documentary, The Names Project, that won a “Golden Mike” Award from the Radio & Television News Directors Association.
This led to a position as a staff writer for an ABC Television sitcom and co-writing the independent film LALA: Uncut, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Manning created, co-wrote, and produced a film festival-circuit fan-favorite short, Bringing Up BayBay, starring Debra Wilson.
Expanding to theater, Manning wrote and produced the multi-award-nominated musical Flirting with Morty and won an NAACP Theatre Award as “Best Producer” for the production Butterflies of Uganda: Memories of a Child Soldier.
Paula continues creating, producing, and writing projects ranging from TV pilots to documentaries and films.
